A video reportedly showed a Long Island dog trainer jabbing a dog with a stick. This is one of multiple reports of alleged abuse at NY Dog Works, a dog training facility. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.
“A witness informed me that, basically, my dog was beaten terribly while he was there, along with every other dog that’s there. I didn’t witness it myself. My dog didn’t appear to have injuries other than the teeth,” stated Thomas Marrone, a local dog owner. He described his dog as scared, timid, and missing teeth after a training session at NY Dog Works.
Brian DeMartino, the owner of NY Dog Works, appeared in court on unrelated charges. He has not yet been charged in this case. Sign below and demand the maximum penalty in this case.
Dear District Attorney Singas,
A recently circulated video reportedly shows a dog trainer poking a pit bull with a stick. This is one of multiple complaints against this training facility. Demand justice for these innocent dogs.
“He told me he was bit by another dog. Do you believe that? I don’t believe that. No,” stated Tammy Lynch, a local dog owner. Her dog was reportedly injured at NY Dog Works. Multiple other dog owners also reported that their dogs came back from the training facility with cuts and bruises.
This abuse cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
