Cat Thrown off Third Story Balcony on Video – Demand Justice

Target: Carolyn Murray, Essex County Prosecuting Attorney

Goal: Seek the maximum possible punishment and a permanent ban from owning animals for woman accused of throwing a cat off a balcony and posting video to social media.

Footage posted to social media shows a cat being thrown from the third floor balcony of an apartment building. Laughing can be heard as the petrified cat is seen smacking the pavement. Miraculously, the cat survived and is now being cared for by the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Tikeemah Lassiter, a 19-year-old, was charged with animal cruelty. It’s extremely disturbing that someone could be capable of such sadism and violence against a completely innocent, small animal. If true, this would be similar to the behavior of animal torturers and killers, and it must be stopped so other innocent creatures don’t fall into this person’s hands. Please sign this petition to demand that this woman be punished to the most severe extent and banned from ever owning animals, if found guilty.

Dear Ms. Murray,

A video posted on social media shows a woman tossing a cat from the third floor balcony of an apartment building. It appears that this tiny, innocent animal was nearly killed for nothing but sheer personal pleasure and attention.

Animal cruelty has become a trendy way to seek attention on social media, and it has to stop. We are calling on you to be the voice for these innocent animals. Please see to it that this poor cat is given justice by seeking the most severe possible penalty for this woman and assure that she receives a permanent ban from ever owning animals again, if found guilty.

  1. Keep this psycho locked up as they will do the same again. They are a danger to society and the punishment should fit the crime.
