Dear District Attorney Vailliencourt,
A dog was found dead on the side of the road. His emaciated body was stuffed inside of a dog food bag. We demand justice for this innocent dog.
“Through our collaborative efforts with the Michigan Human Society, we are able to pool the resources necessary to combat animal cruelty … I just hope we find out who did this,” stated Andy Seltz, director of Livingston County Animal Control. Witnesses called 911 after they found the dog’s body alongside the road. The owner has not yet been identified.
No animal deserves to suffer such cruelty. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
