Target: Robert James, District Attorney of DeKalb, Georgia

Goal: Seek harshest possible penalty for man that allegedly starved dogs, causing one to die.

A man reportedly starved his dog to death, then had the body taken to a crematorium. Employees noticed the dog’s horrific condition and alerted authorities. The poor animal was just skin and bones, according to officers. Authorities say that other emaciated dogs were found in deplorable condition on the property, but details regarding their condition or future weren’t released.

According to the warrant, the poor dog died from starvation and dehydration because of James Thompson’s alleged failure to feed or water the animal. Only a cruel and heartless person could sit by and watch their dogs waste away as they starve and dehydrate. There’s no excuse for not feeding and watering these innocent animals.

Please sign this petition to tell authorities to seek the maximum possible punishment for Thompson, if he is found guilty of causing his dog to die a tragic, miserable death.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. James,

A dog was reportedly starved and dehydrated to death by the owner who then sent the animal’s body for cremation. Other dogs were reportedly found emaciated and in deplorable living conditions, according to officers.

This poor dog suffered a miserable, senseless death that could’ve been easily prevented. Watching your dogs starve and become dehydrated until they’re emaciated and dead is absolutely cruel. We, the undersigned, ask that you see to it that the owner receives a harsh punishment and permanent ban from owning animals if he is found guilty.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
