Target: Police Chief Superintendent Sharon Stavers, Northumbria, U.K.
Goal: Find and punish whoever is killing and mutilating animals and leaving them on display in a small village.
Andrew Burnip was horrified to find pieces of deer hide and flesh that led from the public road to the remains of a deer that had been torn in two in a field. This was not the first or only gory incident that the people of Greenside, Gateshead have had to face recently.
In another part of town, next to a children’s play area, a black garbage bag was discovered to contain more cut up pieces of deer. The bag was apparently discarded in a public place so that its horrific contents would be discovered, and its proximity to a children’s playground is particularly troubling.
Just a few short weeks ago another disturbing find was made on a pleasant lane. Some twisted person had put on display eight bags filled with more mutilated animal remains. The number of animals that this person has gruesomely killed and put on display is in itself worrying.
Yet another incident occurred where someone came upon the scattered carcasses of ten pigeons that had been placed next to a public road. The people in this quiet village are becoming anxious. What started as a horrific discovery has become a trend of terror for the residents.
Police must work harder to find the person responsible for this mutilation of innocent animals, and put an end to it immediately. The sadistic person who is continuing to kill these wild animals must be stopped and held accountable for these cruel crimes. Sign this petition to urge the Northumbria police to find this killer before he strikes again.
Dear Superintendent Stavers,
The residents of Greenside, Gateshead have been experiencing a disturbing trend of animal mutilations left on public display. These sick exhibits feature deer that have been torn to pieces and callously discarded in garbage bags. They are sometimes left next to children’s playgrounds. These horrific finds are not stopping and the boldness of the killer is not waning.
The person responsible must be found and brought to justice to prevent them from escalating their violence further. These innocent animals, that should have been protected, were killed just to be discarded. The villagers should not have to face this this kind of gory discovery anymore. Please stop the killing before this sick person strikes again.
