Target: Dan E. Armstrong, Greene County District Attorney

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the men who reportedly beat and stabbed a German shepherd.

A German shepherd was savagely beaten and stabbed, reportedly by three of his neighbors. The dog’s owner had been searching for him since he jumped over the backyard fence during a thunderstorm. Demand justice for this innocent dog.

Greene County sheriff’s deputies answered a drunk and disorderly call and reportedly found blood in the residence. This led them to the bathroom, where they discovered three men apparently torturing Smokey. The German shepherd had multiple cuts and puncture wounds across his body and was emotionally traumatized.

The men have been charged with aggravated animal cruelty. Smokey endured hours of surgery on his neck, face, and body, and thankfully will likely recover. Sign below and demand the maximum penalty in this case.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Armstrong,

Three men reportedly tortured a dog in a disturbing case of animal cruelty. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sheriff’s deputies answered a drunk and disorderly call and reportedly walked into a bloodbath. They entered the bathroom of the residence where they allegedly witnessed three men covered in blood. One reportedly held a knife and another held other a stick. Smokey, a German shepherd, escaped from the bathtub behind them. Smokey suffered stab wounds to his neck and face and other wounds all over his body.

All three men have been charged with aggressive animal cruelty. The motive for this disturbing abuse is unknown. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,

  3. FIRST, thank you A MILLION TIMES to the neighbor who called Police — SECOND, thank you A MILLION TIMES to the Police — I am thrilled to learn that Smokey will make it ! — Crimes against animals MUST be taken seriously — there are way too many idiot-monsters loose in our world – — think of the suffering — Why allow psychos to get away with these horrific abuses !! — we MUST round them up & throw these insane criminals into prison — mete out severe punishments OR whatever it takes to ensure they do NOT repeat their demented crimes — LENGTHY prison terms — along with slapping them with hefty fines — we want NO repeats of abuse to and killings of animals, EVER !
