Justice for Severely Burned Cat Left to Suffer Without Medical Treatment

Target: Wes Adams, District Attorney of Anne Arundel County

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for man who reportedly left his severely burned cat to suffer without medical treatment.

Anne Arundel County police found a severely burned cat in a home in Millersville, Maryland. The cat was clearly suffering, but the owner did not seek out medical treatment. Demand justice for this innocent cat.

The cat, named Charlie, sustained burns over a large portion of his body. Veterinarians documented that the burns must have occurred at least 10 days before he was brought in for treatment. During this time, Charlie was left at home to suffer. Charlie will require extensive treatment, but is expected to recover.

Charlie’s owner was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. Sign below and demand the maximum penalty in this case.

Dear District Attorney Adams,

A cat suffered extensive burns over a large portion of his body. Despite his pain and discomfort, his owner did not provide medical treatment. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Charlie was only rescued after Anne Arundel County police entered Sean Todd McDermott’s home. With burns covering most of his body, Charlie was suffering and in great pain. Veterinary documentation shows that the burns likely occurred 10 days to two weeks prior to Charlie’s rescue.

An act of cruelty of this magnitude cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

This person needs to be prosecuted severely. This person needs to be embarrassed in the media including television radio newspapers and magazines. This personn needs to be on an international list of animal abusers and publicized to the nth degree. This person is a pariah too civilized communities. How can anybody question the severity of punishment and embarrassment that this woman deserves. She should never be allowed to be by pets. This person, is in a abuser just like a rapist, a pedophile, a child molester, or a perpetrator of domestic violence. I believe people of this type need to be in police stations and public buildings as a detriment to society in embarrassed for what they did.
I realize that Michael Vic a prison sentence for his time. Very small punishment for the cruelty that this disgusting person inflicted. He should never have any recognition, just the same as this woman should never get by and be totally embarrassed.
Anything less shows a form of mental retardation in our own government in the government of your county.

  2. There is a simple way to deter animal torture – it’s called an eye for an eye. Do to these sick creeps the same thing they do to the animal. Other sickos out there will think twice before they torture innocent animals. I have zero sympathy for animal torturers.

  3. Strip him of his clothing; cover him with hot tar, glue and honey; and leave him to the ants. He’ll get the message soon enough that he shouldn’t do things like that and won’t get the chance to do it again.

Eat shxx and die you ass.

  4. In what kind of a sick world do we live in? Sometimes, I am ashamed to be a human.

  5. MAXIMUM penalty for this subhuman garbage… I hope hi will get a cancer ASAP.

  7. it really makes you wonder why god let man rule he zigged when he should zagged what kind of sick so called human would allow this poor baby to suffer cruelty has to be stopped

  8. People like this should never be allowed to have pets or be around children, this person is very cruel or just very ignorant or stupid or extremely low IQ! I also wonder how did the cat get burned in the first place? Our laws need to be changed so that there is more jail time larger fines for animal abuse they should be the same as if they were abusing a child

  9. Kathy Khoshfahm says:

Wes – this case is a classic example of cruelty at its finest. Please use your power and position to prosecute the POS responsible for this cat’s injuries to the fullest extent possible. Please show the world that Anne Arundel County WILL NOT TOLERATE animal abuse and murder! Please!
