Justice for Severely Burned Cat Left to Suffer Without Medical Treatment

Target: Wes Adams, District Attorney of Anne Arundel County

Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for man who reportedly left his severely burned cat to suffer without medical treatment.

Anne Arundel County police found a severely burned cat in a home in Millersville, Maryland. The cat was clearly suffering, but the owner did not seek out medical treatment. Demand justice for this innocent cat.

The cat, named Charlie, sustained burns over a large portion of his body. Veterinarians documented that the burns must have occurred at least 10 days before he was brought in for treatment. During this time, Charlie was left at home to suffer. Charlie will require extensive treatment, but is expected to recover.

Charlie’s owner was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. Sign below and demand the maximum penalty in this case.

Dear District Attorney Adams,

A cat suffered extensive burns over a large portion of his body. Despite his pain and discomfort, his owner did not provide medical treatment. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Charlie was only rescued after Anne Arundel County police entered Sean Todd McDermott’s home. With burns covering most of his body, Charlie was suffering and in great pain. Veterinary documentation shows that the burns likely occurred 10 days to two weeks prior to Charlie’s rescue.

An act of cruelty of this magnitude cannot go unpunished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

  1. Do not let this scumbag ever own an animal again. Jail him for abuse and for leaving the poor animal suffering in agony for days. Make him pay for all the treatment and re home the poor cat to a loving new home. Was this a deliberate act if so jail him and throw the key away. Make the punishment fit the crime. The world would be a better place with these psychos locked up.

  2. WHAT A FU@# UP BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!MOST BE PUNISH TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Sarah Rose says:

Burn this bastard in hell where he belongs. Give him the severest of penalties showing this psycho no mercy for the heinous he committed on an innocent cat. This is one sick bastard and I would like to personally burn him myself. Once again we need strong animal cruelty laws.

  4. The only thing we ever have to be in our lives is responsible

  5. Bev Woodburn says:

This lowlife monster must be charged with deliberate animal torture and suffering and jailed for life.
    An eye for an eye.

  6. Linda Barnett says:

McDermott MUST be severely punished for this despicable act of cruelty. Added to such punishment, which should be a JAIL SENTENCE, a lifetime ban must be served to protect all creatures from this monster. None of us can imagine the suffering that this little cat, Charlie, must have experienced. Such a wicked act of cruelty! I hope that Charlie makes a full recovery soonest and finds a loving and caring home which he so deserves.

  7. Patricia Dumais says:

All I hope for Charlie at this time is as quick a recovery as possible and great new caretaker who will ensure that the rest of his life is heaven compared to the hell this poor cat endured.

As for McDermott, he must get the maximum punishment for such cruelty and never be allowed to possess an animal again.
