Justice for Bunny Allegedly Set on Fire

Target: Tom Lewis, Punta Gorda Chief of Police

Goal: Ensure maximum penalty for the man allegedly responsible for intentionally burning a pet rabbit.

A man reportedly set his pet bunny on fire, then chased the poor animal around in a fit of rage all because it bit him. The rabbit, named Thumper, survived the torturous event, but suffered from serious burns. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Manasseh Walker has been charged with animal cruelty for this inexcusable and heinous violence.

The owner had no business keeping a rabbit as a pet if he’s so prone to violence and incapable of handling them properly. Thumper deserves justice and all animals deserve to be protected from monsters like this man. Please add your signature to the petition below to demand that Walker be given the most severe penalty allowed by law.

Dear Mr. Lewis,

A man reportedly set his pet bunny on fire and chased it just because it bit him. Photos of the bunny, named Thumper, make it clear that the owner intended to torture the helpless creature.

The cruelty inflicted upon Thumper is inexcusable. Please help make sure that this man gets the maximum penalty allowed by law, if found guilty.
