Target: Scott Pruitt, Attorney General of Oklahoma
Goal: Issue maximum punishment to couple who allegedly had mass grave of dead animals.
A mass animal grave containing dogs, rabbits, and a cat was reportedly discovered during the rescue of 14 dogs and 9 puppies kept inside a single home. The authorities who rescued the surviving dogs say that the dead bodies were stuffed in garbage bags and put into an 8 by 10 foot grave on the owners’ property.
A veterinarian, who called it one of the worst cases yet, said the house “smelled like death.” According to the veterinarian, it was so bad that it was unlivable for animals, much less humans. A makeshift clinic was even set up to check the numerous animals for disease.
According to deputies, the owners, a couple who were arrested on multiple complaints of animal cruelty and neglect, were taking the animals to flea markets to sell them. Dozens of poor animals suffered at the hands of these people, all for the sake of money. If these people aren’t appropriately punished, there’s a huge possibility that they will continue to harm and kill innocent animals for money. Sign this petition to urge authorities to ensure that they’re given the maximum penalty and banned from owning animals.
Dear Mr. Pruitt,
A mass animal grave was reportedly discovered on the property of a couple who was selling them. According to authorities, the bodies of dozens of innocent animals were stuffed in garbage bags and tossed into the grave.
These poor animals were killed just for money and this kind of behavior is bound to reoccur if these people aren’t stopped. Please help save the animals that could end up in their hands in the future by ensuring that the offenders receive the maximum penalty and are banned from owning animals.
