Target: Scott O’Donnell, Executive Director of Circus World
Goal: Retire all of Circus World’s animals to accredited sanctuaries.
A popular circus in Wisconsin, Circus World, continues to exploit elephants and tigers for profit. Circus World continues to use these animals in numerous acts and offer elephant rides to the public.
Circus animals suffer mentally and physically. Many circus animals endure what seems like never ending pain and torture which is disguised as “training.” In addition, these animals are often neglected and kept in their cages for much too long. These animals belong in the wild, surrounded by trees, sunshine, and friends.
Sign this petition to demand Circus World retire all of their animals to an accredited sanctuary where they can happily live out the rest of their days.
Dear Mr. O’Donnell,
More and more circuses have decided to get rid of their animals acts and retire their animals to accredited sanctuaries. Unfortunately, your circus has not done the same. Instead, you continue to use elephants and tigers for circus acts and rides.
Animals held in captivity suffer mentally and physically. They are denied everything natural to them like running through the trees, soaking up the sunshine, and playing with their friends.
Please consider retiring all of your animals to accredited sanctuaries where they can happily live out the rest of their days. These animals deserve to run free. They should not be cooped up to put on shows for large, jeering crowds. It is unfair, unnatural, and greedy.
