PLEASE make sure to read the news coverage which includes the history of this case, as reported in The Rutland Herald on 5/15/16. Highlights:

*** 30-40 cats disappeared from this shelter during Dec 2015–Jan 2016.

*** The bodies of 3 kittens and 1 adult cat, found in a freezer, were later examined by forensic veterinarian Dr. Janet Carini of Bomoseen, who said it was “highly likely” those animals had been drowned as well.

*** People at the now closed Webster’s House believed in “soul jumping” between the dying cats and the healthy cats, and that a volunteer was told by the director that one of the cats was “destined to die to be reborn again.”
