Emaciated Cats Stuffed in Tiny Crates Deserve Justice

Target: Robert Lougy, Attorney General of New Jersey

Goal: Seek a permanent ban on owning animals for the people who reportedly had over 80 cats stacked in tiny crates.

Over 80 emaciated and dehydrated cats were reportedly found in tiny crates stacked from the floor to the ceiling of a small apartment. Some of the crates held as many as 10 cats while five dogs were found in a closet, according to authorities. The veterinarian said the animals had contracted the herpes virus, ringworm, and severe respiratory infections. Many of them had to be euthanized due to such poor health. The conditions were so horrific that the humane officer referred to the apartment as “the house of horrors.”

Authorities say that they believe the owners were adopting the animals in exchange for money. They’re facing 86 counts of animal cruelty. Please sign this petition to demand that the cruel owners be permanently banned from owning animals.

Dear Mr. Lougy,

In a small apartment, over 80 emaciated cats were reportedly found in tiny crates, and five dogs were discovered inside of the closet. Some crates held up to 10 cats, many of which had herpes and ringworm and were also suffering from starvation and dehydration. Most of them had to be euthanized due to such horrific health problems caused by the owners.

Authorities believe that the owners were adopting the animals in exchange for money. To use and neglect animals just for money is sick. We urge you to seek a permanent ban on animals for the owners who allegedly did this animal cruelty.

Things like this make me sick. I can’t imagine the terror and pain all these poor animals felt. And then to have to die.
This is why we need a National Animal Abuser Registery NOW!

OMG !!!? I want to strangle people sometimes!!! Signed & Shared.

  3. People who do this are sick, and calloused. They need to be arrested and
charged with animal cruelty. The animals need to be taken to a no kill shelter,
and the thugs that do this need to be put in small cages with just enough room to stand or sit. Give them just enough food and water to survive, and a
bucket for a toilet. Give them a hosing off for a bath, and one change of clothes a month. Keep them outdoors in all types of weather without any
    cover from the elements.

  4. Bev Woodburn says:

The vile and sadistic monsters responsible for these atrocities must be jailed for life.
It is absolutely sickening and unforgivable what monsters like these commit against the innocent and defenceless animals.

  5. Sophie Debbane says:

In exchange for money. Potentially used as dog-fighting bait I suppose as well by buyers.
