Abandoned Dog Deserves Justice

Target: Jerry Dyer, Chief of Police, Fresno, California

Goal: Find owner who abandoned crying dog and hold him legally accountable.

A dog was allegedly left behind in the cold by the owner who vowed to take care of him. A neighbor noticed the dog crying outside of the previous owner’s door and decided to alert the community by posting a story about the incident on Facebook. Luckily, a concerned citizen responded to the post and took the dog to a local groomer. She also helped the dog to find a new, loving home.

While this particular dog was lucky enough to be adopted by a family who will likely never commit the same action, many animals that are left in the cold are euthanized or end up strays.

Urge authorities to do everything in their power to find the person who reportedly abandoned this dog and ensure they are held legally accountable for their actions. If nothing is done, another animal is liable to end up either sick or dead as a result of such heartless neglect.

Dear Chief Dyer,

A dog was recently rescued after having been allegedly left behind by its previous owner. It is important that the person who did this be held accountable for his actions in order to ensure no other animals will be harmed by this particular individual.

After the dog was left behind, a neighbor reportedly posted a story about the incident on Facebook in order to try and find the animal a reputable home. While it is good news that someone rescued the dog, took it to a groomer and eventually helped to find it a good home, many animals in the same situation are not so lucky. In fact, there are approximately 1.2 million stray animals found roaming the streets in the United States each year, and many of those animals were likely abandoned by irresponsible and callous pet owners.

Please do everything in your power to find and arrest whoever allegedly abandoned this innocent animal and ensure they receive an adequate punishment under the law. Dogs don’t deserve to be tossed aside like pieces of trash by the very people who made lifelong commitments to look out for their well-being.

Pet Owners who deliberately abandon their innocent and helpless pets must be brought to Justice and jailed for deliberate animal cruelty and suffering. These arse holes should never be allowed to own a pet or have anything to do with these precious animals.

  3. Jaime Perez says:

Stupid s.o.b., what is wrong with this scumbag? That’s a heartless way to get rid of your pet. He could have taken the dog to a shelter. I hope he’s caught and punished severely.

  4. ISSUE No.1 — Thank God this dog was rescued by fabulous people — find the previous owner and make him/her accountable for the cruel negligence — Society does NOT WANT REPEATS of abuse to and deaths to ANIMALS — ISSUE No.2 — Shelters are called SHELTERs for a reason — KILLING cats & dogs is horrific, wrong, insane, irrational, merciless, callous, immoral & should be ILLEGAL — Shelters should NEVER kill healthy & treatable animals! == IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE whatsoever — shelters are in the business of holding & protecting animals until they transition into loving & caring homes — Pay a visit to NO-KILL ADVOCACY CENTER headed by Nathan Winograd.
