Target: Bill Schuette, Michigan Attorney General
Goal: Seek the maximum sentence for students accused of killing a guinea pig and using its blood and remains as face paint.
A guinea pig was reportedly killed by at least 10 members of a high school lacrosse team who used the poor animal’s blood as face paint. Fellow students say the team members sacrificed the poor animal before a game. The police released a statement saying they’ll investigate, and the school only said that they’ll apply the “athletic handbook” depending on the results of the investigation.
This is a disgusting case of animal cruelty, and if the allegations are true, then these people could pose a serious threat to the well-being and lives of both animals and humans. These alleged violent animal killers could end up being let off the hook without having to pay for their heinous crime. That is why it’s important that we put pressure on the police department to ensure justice is served if the team members are found guilty.
Dear Mr. Schuette,
Members of a high school lacrosse team were accused of killing a guinea pig and using its blood and remains as face paint before a game. This heinous animal sacrifice must not be overlooked.
We urge you to take this violent display of animal cruelty seriously and seek the maximum sentence for these people, if found guilty.
