Target: Steve Hankirk, President of Canadian North Airlines
Goal: Thank Canadian North Airlines for being lenient with flying pets for families fleeing the wildfires.
Wildfires have been blazing through areas of Canada, forcing countless families to move to safe places. This is causing a huge increase in flights out of these areas.
Canadian North Airlines has been allowing pets to fly in the main cabin. Many families were unable to return to their homes to grab belongings, including pet carriers. Typically, animals must travel in the cargo hold in their carriers. Thankfully, Canadian North has been very lenient, resulting in countless animals being saved.
Sign this petition and thank Canadian North Airlines for letting families stick together and allowing pets to ride in the main cabin.
Dear Mr. Hankirk,
Unfortunately, wildfires have been blazing through parts of Canada which has caused countless families to flee to a safer place. This has of course led to a dramatic increase of outgoing flights.
Many families were not able to return to their homes and grab their belongings, including carriers for their pets. As you know, pets are typically held in their carriers in the cargo hold. Thankfully, since many families were without carriers, you decided to let pets ride in the main cabin.
Thank you for being so compassionate and saving countless family pets from the wildfires. It is so heartwarming to see a company make such a selfless decision.
