Target: Adv Nomgcobo Jiba, Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions in South Africa
Goal: Charge and punish Bunny Park employees for allegedly killing animals inhumanely.
Two animals were reportedly killed at the hands of the workers at the Bunny Park, a place with a history of animal abuse allegations. A rabbit was allegedly kicked to death by a worker, and a chicken is said to have died after employees poured motor oil on it. Witnesses, who are also volunteers at the park, say that these type of horrific mistreatment are not isolated cases. In fact, the same park was reported in the past to have bunnies with mysterious growths covering their eyes, noses and mouths.
The park has faced accusations of neglect and mismanagement before, but it seems nobody cares enough to punish them or shut them down. Please sign this petition to demand that the Bunny Park employees be charged with animal cruelty and punished to the maximum extent, if found guilty.
Dear Deputy Director Jiba,
A rabbit was allegedly kicked to death and a chicken was killed after employees at the Bunny Park reportedly poured motor oil on it. Volunteers say that this type of cruelty happens frequently at the park.
In the past, the park has been accused of neglect, but it seems nobody has cared enough for these innocent lives to do anything about it. We demand that the workers who allegedly killed the animals by kicking and pouring motor oil on them be charged with cruelty to animals and punished to the most severe extent possible if found guilty.
