Target: Jean-Francois van Boxmeer, CEO of Heineken
Goal: Thank Heineken for canceling the wild animal display at an upcoming event.
The popular beer company, Heineken, was planning on having a wild animal display at the Dos Equis’ “The Estate Auction of the Most Interesting Man in the World” event in Los Angeles. Thankfully, the company decided to cancel the wild animal display after being educated about the facts.
The company was going to bring alligators, hawks and owls to the event to entertain the public. However, wild animals held in small cages during a hectic event can experience extreme stress, injury and in some cases, death. Thankfully upon hearing this, Heineken pulled the display and stated that “animal safety is of utmost importance to us, and we would never engage in an activity that would put any animal in harm’s way.”
Sign this petition and thank Heineken for making the compassionate choice and saving these animals from unnecessary stress and possible injury.
Dear Mr. van Boxmeer,
Dos Equis’ “The Estate Auction of the Most Interesting Man in the World” event is coming up. Your company was planning on having a wild animal display that included alligators, hawks and owls. Thankfully, you have decided to cancel this display.
As you now know, wild animals held in captivity can experience extreme stress, injury or even death. It is cruel to put these animals in such an unfamiliar, hectic setting.
Thank you for making the compassionate choice and sparing these animals from unnecessary stress and possible injury or death. It is inspiring to see a company making strides in such important issues.
