Target: Jeremy Wright, Attorney General of England
Goal: Find and severely punish person who colored kittens with toxic ink.
Two kittens are undergoing treatment for possible toxic exposure after they were reportedly covered in toxic ink. The kittens were covered head to toe, including around their eyes, with what the rescue team believes to have been permanent markers. The rescue team said the kittens have required constant care and one stopped breathing. Even after bathing them, some of the permanent blue and green ink remains on their fur. Authorities reportedly say they don’t believe this was the work of children.
Someone cruelly and carefully colored these kittens, not caring about the damage of the coloring around their eyes or about them being poisoned when they licked their fur. Whoever did this should receive severe repercussions for cruelty to animals. Please sign this petition to demand that authorities find the person responsible and harshly punish them.
Dear Mr. Wright,
Two kittens were reportedly colored with permanent, toxic ink that’s left them requiring constant care and treatment for possible toxic exposure. One of the kittens stopped breathing at one point. The rescue team has tried to bathe the ink off their fur, but some of the color still remains. Authorities do not believe that it was children who committed this act of cruelty.
Clearly whoever did this to the kittens didn’t care if they were poisoned from licking the ink off their fur. We urge you to find the person responsible for this act of cruelty and punish them to the maximum extent.
