Target: Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Ministry of Environment and Forests
Goal: Thank the Indian government for banning soap and detergent manufacturers from testing on animals.
India has announced that soap and detergent manufacturers are no longer allowed to test their products on animals. This is great news for animals and people. Countless rabbits, guinea pigs and mice are now spared a life full of pain and consumers can rest assured knowing no matter what soap or detergent they buy, it was not tested on an innocent animal.
This is a huge step for India. Hopefully more countries decide to follow suit. Sign this petition and thank the Indian government for making such a progressive new law.
Dear Mr. Javadekar,
Recently, India has announced that it will no longer allow soap and detergent manufacturers to test their products on animals. This is great news for animals and people alike. Countless mice, guinea pigs and rabbits will now be spared from a lifetime of painful and terrifying ordeals. In addition, consumers can happily purchase any soap or detergent knowing it was not tested on an innocent animal.
This is a huge step forward and I am hoping this groundbreaking decision inspires other countries to follow in your footsteps. Thank you for making this happen and saving countless animals.
