Target: Trumbull County, Ohio District Attorney Dennis Watkins
Goal: Ensure maximum punishment of man for allegedly abusing dogs for years by having intercourse with them.
A man was jailed after a family member reported him for allegedly having sex with his daughter’s two boxer dogs for years. The relative reported that 61-year-old Salvador Rendon had been having intercourse with the pets for six years. Rendon was granted bond after the judge said the mental health evaluation showed him to be of “low risk” to himself or others.
Bestiality is animal abuse and people who commit these heinous crimes should be prosecuted. The lack of anti-bestiality laws sends the message that Ohio doesn’t care about the innocent lives of animals. Since bestiality isn’t illegal in Ohio, Rendon could face little to no punishment and go on to hurt more animals. Although the laws don’t provide much protection or justice for innocent animals, animal abusers should still be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Please sign this petition to demand that the maximum punishment be granted to this man, if guilty.
Dear Mr. Watkins,
It’s been brought to our attention that a man was granted bond after being charged with animal abuse for alleged acts of bestiality. A family member reported Salvador Rendon for allegedly committing this deplorable abuse for years on his own daughter’s two dogs. This shows how unfortunate it is that Ohio doesn’t have laws in place to protect animals from bestiality.
If the allegations are true, then this man is in every way a danger to the innocent lives of animals and shouldn’t be freed. We demand that he receive the maximum penalty and a permanent ban from being around or owning animals.
