Target: Kartick Satyanarayan, Founder and Chairman of Wildlife SOS
Goal: Thank group for going through extraordinary measures to save a trapped leopard.
A leopard wandered a bit too far and fell into deep well in a small village in India, likely while looking for water. The leopard spent an entire night trying to climb out of the 30-foot well with no success. The next morning, a local spotted the leopard and contacted Wildlife SOS.
When Wildlife SOS arrived at the scene, a crowd has accumulated around the well and some people were throwing stones at the poor, scared leopard. The rescue team stopped this immediately and went to work. They were able to get the leopard out of the well and examined by a veterinarian.
The leopard was given a thumbs up by the vet and was released back into the wild. Sign this petition and thank Wildlife SOS for the hard work they put into saving this leopard.
Dear Mr. Satyanarayan,
Recently, your team went to work to save a leopard that was stuck in a 30-foot well. The leopard was stuck there overnight despite many attempts to escape. When a rescue team was called in the next morning, a crowd had accumulated around the well and some people were throwing rocks at the confused and scared leopard. Your team immediately put a stop to that and began working.
Your team was able to get the leopard out of the well, give her a quick check by a veterinarian, and then release her back into the wild. It is so inspiring to see people go above and beyond to help all types of creatures. Thank you for putting in the work to help this leopard.
