Justice for Horse Allegedly Left to Freeze to Death By Farmers

Sick-Horse-by-Nats-Grant-Logan.jpg

Target: Farmersville Town Court Judge, Jennifer Holmes

Goal: Give maximum sentence to farm owners accused of neglecting over 600 animals and leaving a horse to freeze to death.

Over 600 neglected animals were reportedly seized from a farm after a driver noticed a horse lying on the ground under a blanket that was frozen to the ground. The poor horse was still alive, but had to be euthanized, and many of the rest require medical attention. The farm owners are known for selling poultry, duck eggs, and rabbit to locals who were under the impression they were doing a good deed by purchasing from local farmers.

This isn’t their first offense, according to reports. The owners faced similar charges years ago when 40 dogs were seized from their farm, but they got them back. Had they been punished appropriately and barred from owning animals after the first animal abuse charges, these new animals wouldn’t have had to suffer.

If it weren’t for the highway worker accidentally spotting the horse, these 600 animals would likely still be suffering. Sadly, the owners are reportedly moving to a new farm to most likely begin their third round of animal cruelty. They never should’ve been allowed to re-open a farm after their first offense, but to allow them to continue after their second offense is a tragic injustice. Demand that this couple be punished for the alleged cruelty and barred permanently from owning animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Judge Holmes,

A horse was reportedly found lying under a blanket that had frozen to the ground. The SPCA reportedly seized over 600 other animals, many of which required medical attention. The farm owners had allegedly faced previous animal abuse charges and had their animals seized in the past and now they’re said to be on their way to another farm.

It’s a despicable injustice that they were allowed to continue inflicting abuse upon innocent animals. We demand that if this couple is found guilty of the animal cruelty charges, they are given the maximum penalty and permanently barred from ever owning animals again.

Sincerely,

SHOCKING INHUMANE TREATMENT FOR THE POOR HORSE WHO WAS PROBABLY TOO WEEK TO EVEN STAND UP !
THIS BASTARD OF A MAN (& WOMAN) SHOULD BE CHAINED & CEMENTED INTO THE GROUND IN FREEZING CONDITIONS & LEFT THERE !
DISGUSTING THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE ACCESS TO ANY ANIMALS IN THE FUTURE !

  3. My heart breaks for this sweet horse and the rest of the suffering animals on this farm — I wish someone noticed this horse sooner — he would’ve been alive today — if only he had a loving home — instead, he had idiot-monsters supervising — these imbeciles should be brought to justice — they are irrational, merciless, sadistic people who belong no where near animals, no less own them — they’re a DANGER to animals — crimes against animals should NEVER be repeated — we MUST put a stop to such animal abusers by arresting them, meting out a lengthy jail sentence along with a high monetary penalty — this should make them think twice — do NOT let these monsters get away with their torturous acts.

  4. justice for these farm animals.

  5. Judge Holmes is not the judge, I was told by Ginger Schroder that its Judge Shawn Krojte. She is not sure who took the above picture. She shared a pic with me and it made me sick. I was her ex adoptive daughter and she abused me for 4 yrs. The judged allowed her not to be charged if she released me. She admit that she wanted me for a work horse. Once a abuser always abuser!

  6. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to sign it twice.

I knew these people. I was one of their foster children in 1989-1990. I can attest that they are abhorrent, abusive monsters.

I hope that Judge Holmes charges them with the maximum sentence, they deserve absolutely nothing less.

Even if she does charge them with the maximum sentence, it would be scant punishment for the decades of trauma that these people have inflicted; upon on innocent farm animals and foster children alike.

  7. Animals are adorable living beings that complete our life. They deserve the respect and care from humans in return. To deal with recalcitrant farm owners like them who repeatedly make the law looks stupid, HARSH PUNISHMENTS like long time jail, heavy fines plus shutting down the farms and a permanent ban in owning or running an animal farm should be effective deterrents.
