Target: Pennsylvania District Attorney Brian Sinnett
Goal: Shut down animal farm for allegedly killing thousands of animals by freezing them to death and prosecute everyone involved.
Thousands of animals were reportedly frozen and gassed to death at a Pennsylvania animal farm that supplies companies such as Petco and PetSmart. The supply company, Holmes Farm, which reportedly smelled of feces and urine, had coolers full of dead animals. A video allegedly shows the deplorable conditions, including the dead animals who were reportedly frozen to death in the cooler.
According to PETA, the supplier tortured the animals that were frozen to death and the employees had wrapped the dead animals in plastic bags without checking for signs of life first. PETA claims Petco knew of this cruel behavior, yet continued to use the facility as a supplier. Petco allegedly sent inspectors to the farm and despite finding out about the horrific animal cruelty, they continued doing business with this sick farm for an entire month following the inspection. Petco reportedly only decided to stop their business when the information was released to the public. The company released a statement claiming it quit doing business with Holmes Farm after their third-party inspection found them to be untrustworthy sources.
These people must be held responsible for their role in this horrific case of animal cruelty. It’s clear that Holmes Farm has no regard for animal life, either. Demand they be shut down and prosecuted for animal cruelty if found guilty.
Dear Mr. Sinnett,
An animal farm has been accused of extreme animal cruelty and neglect after inspectors went in and reportedly found thousands of dead animals in a cooler where they were reportedly tortured and left to freeze to death. According to inspectors, employees for Holmes Farm reportedly tossed the animals in plastic bags without bothering to check for signs of life.
This is a despicable case of animal torment. We demand this animal torture farm be shut down immediately and everyone involved in the animal cruelty prosecuted, if guilty.
