Save Dog From Barren Mud Hole

Dog Deb Todesco

Target: Chief of Police Herbert Blake, Hendersonville Police Department

Goal: Save dog from being confined in a small muddy pit.

A friendly dog has been continuously confined to a small mud pit, according to local construction workers in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Almost every day, this dog comes to the edge of his pit to wag his tail and beg for attention. It seems that the attention from the construction workers and scraps of food they give are some of the only moments of kindness this dog has experienced.

The owners are rarely seen. One of the workers stated that “the people, I don’t think, are really living here, but they left the dog here. They come in once a day, throw some boxes in the car and take it away somewhere. They don’t pet the dog.” When it comes to feeding, the owners reportedly throw dry dog food over the fence to scatter in the mud.

This sweet dog deserves so much more in life. Sign this petition and demand the Hendersonville Police Department save this dog from his neglectful “owners.”

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Officer Blake,

Construction workers operating in Henderson have noticed a friendly dog that is confined to a small, barren mud pit. The workers have befriended the sweet dog and their interactions seem to be the only moments of kindness this dog has experienced.

The workers see the owners once a day. One worker stated that “the people, I don’t think, are really living here, but they left the dog here. They come in once a day, throw some boxes in the car and take it away somewhere. They don’t pet the dog.” The dog is apparently not given adequate shelter for rain or the cold. Instead he is forced to just wait out the weather.

Neglect is abuse and this dog deserves much more in life. Please take the matter into your own hands and change this dog’s life forever.

Sincerely,

  1. WHY DOESNT SOMEONE JUST TAKE THE DOG ????? REALLY ??

  2. Just ask if they want the dog tell them you will take it it would be in a better place. Or if no ones home just go take it they don’t seem to care especiallyif thete is no water or food.

  3. Fu**ers! SEIZE that poor dog and ensure s/he gets taken to a NO-KILL shelter for adoption! F’in’ Nevada!

  4. Myrna Burdick says:

This neglected dog needs to be rescued. Whoever is reporting this situation needs to do something besides this petition.

Report it to the Animal control or Humane Society, if you have one. Is sounds like the people are about to move from the place
and might be willing to give the dog to anyone who asks.
