Animals Who Slowly Died Under Horrible Conditions Deserve Justice

Target: Mercer County District Judge Lorinda L. Hinch

Goal: Help ensure maximum sentence for two men who allegedly allowed 11 animals to live in deplorable conditions and die.

The Mercer County Humane society reportedly found a large number of animals, plus 11 dead animals, living in what they called deplorable conditions with a lack of proper shelter, food, and bedding. The poor animals living in these awful conditions included numerous cats, pigs, horses, dogs, chickens, and more. The agents rescued the animals and they are being treated and are getting well, according to the executive director of the Humane Society. The owners were two men who have now received animal cruelty citations.

There is no excuse for animals being forced to live in such horrid conditions. These men took the animals in and they failed at their responsibility to take proper care of them or find someone who could. These heartless souls allegedly neglected innocent animals and left them for dead. These two have no regard for life and they should be held responsible and punished accordingly.

A Humane Agent says they could face fines for each citation and possibly a 90-day sentence per citation. Urge the judge to express zero tolerance for animal cruelty and set an example for her county by making sure these two receive the maximum penalties if they are found guilty.

Dear Judge Hinch,

Two men were reportedly accused of animal cruelty when a shocking number of animals were found in deplorable living conditions and without sufficient food, shelter, or bedding. Eleven animals were found dead and the living were rescued and are being nursed back to health.

The two monsters believed to be responsible are reportedly expected to appear before you in court. We are counting on you to speak up for these innocent lives that were senselessly taken. Please help make sure these men receive the most severe penalties possible for their dangerous alleged abuse of animals.
