Charge Rescue Group Where Dead and Neglected Animals Were Allegedly Found

sad-cat-diary-by-Jim H.

Target: New Mexico, 12th Judicial District Attorney Diana Martwick

Goal: Help ensure charges are brought against animal rescue center where police reportedly found dead animals in crates.

Police reportedly found over ten dogs and a cat dead in crates, as well 22 live animals at a so-called animal rescue center claiming to shelter animals before they could be euthanized. The dead animals were left in crates and the others seem to have been neglected and left to suffer the same horrific fates as the other dead animals.

Deputies say they have people of interest, but haven’t made any arrests. The animals were transferred to other shelters and veterinarians. After they collect more evidence from the veterinarian, they’ll contact the district attorney to see if there should be any charges pressed. It seems clear that these animals were at the very least subjected to some form of abuse and neglect, if not outright animal cruelty. There’s no reason for this many dead animals to have been left in crates. It’s clear the shelter workers had no regard for other life. They should’ve handed the animals over so that they could’ve at least been fed and kept alive.

Unfortunately, judging by the police statements — that they will contact the district attorney to see if any charges should be pressed — it sounds like it’s a possibility that whoever is responsible for may not even face charges. These innocent animals deserve justice. Demand that the district attorney make the right decision and choose to press charges and help ensure the people responsible for these lives are given the most severe penalties.

Dear Diana Martwick,

A sickening number of dead animals were reportedly found in crates and 22 live ones at an animal rescue center. Judging by the number of dead bodies left in crates and live animals left to suffer a slow, agonizing death, it seems the people responsible committed horrific acts of animal neglect and cruelty.

Deputies reportedly said they’ll contact the district attorney to see if they should press charges. This isn’t good enough. Please show the world that animal lives matter and that neglect and abuse will not be tolerated by aiming to press as many charges as possible against the center.

  1. A GOOD & CIVILIZED SOCIETY WOULD NEVER ALLOW THIS! === THIS MUST STOP! == Arrest these idiot-monsters ==== harsh & severe penalties MUST be imposed ====== throw them in jail === such abuse was unnecessary, senseless, irrational, merciless, callous, immoral === YOU MUST MAKE THE idiots STOP their cruelty! === IF YOU DON’T, THEY’LL CONTINUE THEIR BRUTAL HORRIBLE WAYS! — We do NOT want repeats of such brutal crimes, abuse and killing of animals — These people are a DANGER to society!

These poor animals suffered, locked in cages, no way to get any food or water. What a slow, agonizing death. Please prosecute these people to the fullest extent of the law!! This is disgusting and so cruel!

  3. Somewhere in the state of New Mexico in the 12th Judicial District there is a place where animals are left to die slowly in carriers. This sounds like a ‘holding pen’ which likely has no employee caretakers, where the local shelter puts animals when they have no space to care for them until someone is available to euthanize them. My guess is the local police & local Town area Govt. know what’s going on & refer to it as an ‘anonymous rescue center.’

    • That’s so sad to know. The New Mexico police and government are a complete letdown. Shame on them for pretending to do good but were actually continuing the heinous act of animal abusers ! I hope that the 12th Judicial District Attorney Diana Martwick is a righteous judge and that she will end animals’ sufferings over there by punishing these horrible rescue workers severely and at the same time strengthen their ANIMAL PROTECTION LAW!

this was not an accident. they were left to suffer and die and this took a long time. long enough for a caring person to have realized how wrong it was. whoever did this will do it again.
