Cat Covered in Concrete and Left to Die Deserves Justice

Target: Mrs. Daphne Harris, Chair for the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Goal: Find and prosecute the person who covered a cat in concrete to the fullest extent of the law.

A cat suffered and nearly died after being doused with concrete. The cat was found shivering on a front porch in Bristol, England. Urge the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to find and prosecute the person responsible for this heinous act.

Faye Richards found Grant, a two-year-old orange cat, lying motionless on her front porch. His fur was so stiff that she mistook him for a package. His eyes had hardened shut due to the concrete. Richards took the cat to the vet where his fur had to be completely shaved off.

Though Grant escaped with only a few cuts and scrapes, it could have been worse. The vet claims that if the concrete had gotten into his lungs, than it could have been an entirely different outcome. Though no one has come forward to claim responsibility for this attack, an investigation is needed to prevent further acts of cruelty.

The RSPCA is an organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. It functions out of the U.K. and Australia and has offices stationed in nearly every city. If anybody can get to the bottom of this attack and prevent similar attacks in the future, it is them. Urge the RSPCA to investigate this attack and seek the harshest punishment possible for the culprit in order to protect the welfare of all animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mrs. Harris,

A cat suffered terribly after being doused with concrete and left for dead. If not for the kindness of Faye Richards, a Bristol resident, the cat would not have survived. We urge the RSPCA to investigate this case and punish the person responsible for this cruel act.

Richards found Grant, a two-year-old orange cat, lying motionless on her front porch. His fur had hardened to his body and he was unable to open his eyes. An emergency visit to the vet resulted in the removal of all of his fur in order to save his life.

Thanks to immediate interventions, Grant survived the attack with only minor injuries. However, it could have gone differently. If the concrete had gotten into his lungs, than he would likely not have survived. We demand an investigation into this attack and the prosecution of the person responsible for this heinous act of animal cruelty.

Sincerely,

Punishments should be more severe. The one who is responsible for this should also be buried alive in the concrete and left to die. Period

  2. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH OUR WORLD WHEN PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING TO DO THAN BE CRUEL,VILE,EVIL AND INHUMANE TO DEFENSELESS ANIMALS?? FIND AND PUNISH THESE MONSTERS!!

I HOPE THIS POOR BABY RECOVERS COMPLETELY AND FINDS A WONDERFUL AND LOVING NEW HOME!

Two petitions today brought tears to my eyes–the cat covered in cent, and the fact that the no-necks are still killing wolves. This is evil and ignorance at its best, and with all my heart I wish these monsters could be charg3d and imprisoned. I have lost almost all hope that people will ever straighten out. They are too sick.

  4. I strongly urge you to find the piece of crap who mistreated this cat by covering him in concrete & leaving him to die. We must stop all this animal abuse, torture & killing. If the officials, the powers that be, would work a little harder on trying to find the subhuman monsters who do things like this, perhaps a lot more animals would not have to suffer. PLEASE, find this monster & prosecute him/her by fining, incarceration, and orders from the court not to EVER have another animal in their possession or even go near an animal for the rest of their sorry, miserable lives. They should also be listed on an animal abuse/torture registry so that people around them can watch & report any suspicious activity. If it were up to me, I’d cover the SOB in concrete & let him/her die, then there would be at least one monster full of demons less to act out their insane cruelty against other living beings.

  5. I HATE these people who do such evil, horrible things to animals, plain and simple! Find them and eradicate them from the face of the earth!

ZERO TOLERANCE/harsher penalties/jail being the only way fwd., in these case – ALL life being equal- Not ours to take to murder, nor inflict suffering upon…

  7. I am at a complete loss as to what people find so fascinating with the abuse if a defenseless animal??? What should be looked at is the fact that when this starts it will often and inevitably lead onto some other forms of heinous crime which unfortunately IS listened to. We MUST afford our animals of the world, protection from harm in all its forms.
Somebody in authority MUST & CAN take the initiative and make a stand……MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE.

  8. Catherine Dugan says:

What a cruel and mean thing to do! How could someone be so mean to a defenseless animal! I am so hurt by how people think it’s fine to hurt and/or kill poor animals! They need to be held accountable for they’re crimes!
