A Pennsylvania family made a horrifying discovery near their home. While they were out with their pet dog, they came upon the body of another canine laying close to a cornfield. This dog, described only as a tan mixed breed, bore signs of extreme mutilation and torture.
Authorities theorize this poor animal was viciously assaulted at another location before being dumped at the place where he was found. They are currently investigating the highly disturbing case. Any potential suspect could face seven years in prison.

Dear DA Martin,
At this point last year, the Lehigh Valley Humane Society had reported 160 cases of alleged animal cruelty. This year, that number has nearly doubled. Instances of apparent cruelty, from tethering in extreme weather to neglect, have risen dramatically. One of the most sickening incidents came recently in Catasauqua, where a young male dog’s mutilated body was discovered by a local family.
When authorities apprehend a suspect, please send an unmistakable signal that, in the words of a Lehigh Valley Humane Society officer, animal cruelty “is not going to be tolerated.” This officer claimed that a felony conviction for the crime could result in a prison sentence. Help protect this region’s most vulnerable living beings by making this legal possibility a reality.

How, how, how can someone do this to an innocent animal that depends on them. When you find this sick SOB, do the same to him that he did to this innocent dog. That is the only justice. Nothing else will do.

The monster who did this has to be a psychopath with no conscience, and is a danger to all other animals and humans. For that reason he/she should not be allowed to live among the rest of us in a supposed civilized society! Find whoever did this to this poor dog and do the same to him or her. The next victim might be a child.
Some comments want this SOB dead. I do too. But how are you going to get jurors to give this guy the death penalty when you can’t even get jurors to give the death penalty to someone who does a home invasion and rapes and kills a whole family. As long as you’ve got bleeding hearts out there who feel more sympathy for the perpetrator than they do for the real victims, nothing will ever change. We need to go back to old west justice where punishment was meted out in a timely manner. Back then, if you stole a horse and got caught, you would be hanged immediately. I would have no problem with vigilantes hunting these animal abusers and torturers and killing them right on the spot. Video tape the action and put in on Pay-per-view. A person could make a lot of money off of this video. Animal lovers would pay to see animal abusers eliminated right on the spot. And put on the tape that future animal abusers will suffer the same fate. That’s the only thing that is going to stop this abuse of animals.
While I believe the person or people responsible for this should be held FULLY accountable, I’m willing to bet that anyone involved in sentient being mutilation(s) has led a highly disturbing/dysfunctional life to date. Without immediate intervention/apprehension, this behavior will probably occur again, if not escalate….why? They can get away with it.
