Two Puppies Abandoned in Freezing Park Deserve Justice

Target: Avon Police Chief Jeffery Bukunt

Goal: Get justice for the two puppies left to die in a freezing park.

Winter is here, and for pet owners that means keeping their furry family members safe and cozy until the spring. Unless, that is, you are the owner of two Pit bulls that were found dumped in a park in Avon, Massachusetts. It’s lucky the pair was found, as one officer commented that “they wouldn’t have survived in the cold much longer.”

The two Pit bulls are each just a year old – practically puppies. They were dangerously skinny when they were rescued, though it is unclear if they had been abandoned for a long time, or if whoever had them wasn’t bothering to give them proper care and sustenance. Either way, when they were saved, they had hardly anything to insulate them from the Massachusetts winter.

Whoever did this to them didn’t break their spirits. But until the perpetrators are found and brought to justice, who knows what other animals they may be abusing. They dumped these two animals when there were many local shelters with warm beds, food, and veterinary care that would have taken them in. They tried to kill these dogs, and they must be stopped until they risk any more lives.

Sign the petition to ask that the Avon Police do everything in their power to find who dumped this pair of bonded Pit bulls.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chief Bukunt,

Recently two Pit bull puppies were found shivering in the cold in a park in your town. They were entirely skin and bones, though whether that was due to the period of abandonment or the lack of care from their previous owners is unclear. What is clear, however, is that their suffering was intentional. There were a plethora of local shelters that these dogs could have been taken to, but they were left to die in the frigid Massachusetts winter.

These animals are fortunately ok, but until the people who did this are brought to justice there is no telling what other animals they may be abusing. It is vital that they are found. Please, make sure that whoever left these two bonded Pit bulls to die never hurt any more animals.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

    Does anybody know anything?

Avon police: You have a psycho in your midst and no little furry friend is safe. Please do everything in your power to find him, her or them to protect the other animals in the area. Hope they are found and charged with animal cruelty!!!!

Thank you to the rescuers and God’s blessing for a happy forever home for both little pit bulls.

Agree with all your comments. Avon police must find the morons responsible and charge them with animal abuse. Someone must recognise these 2 puppies and must report them. There could be more animals at risk. Hope they find a loving hometogether.

  2. Find the ass hole who did this and tie him to a tree in freezing temps and see how long it takes for him to die!!!

  3. FIND THOSE MONSTERS WHO LEFT THOSE 2 BEAUTIFUL DOGS IN THE FREEZING COLD WITH NO WATER OR FOOD. DO THE SAME WITH THEM IN A PLACE OF NO RETURN. NO MECY.

  4. The lowlife scumbags who did this need to be eutanized. They’re wasted space

The real problem is that the police, mayor, prosecutors, state and local officials don’t put any priority on it. Just like it used to be if you stole a car you went to jail. Now you get a slap on the wrist. You have to murder someone to get jail time. People won’t believe that if you don’t stop these things from the begining they just get worse. Thats why so many serial killers slip through the cracks.

EXACTLY WE MUST FORCE THE AUTHORITIES THAT BE TO ACT WE WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE INACTION AND ACTUAL PROSECUTION!

      • Whomever left these precious puppies out in the freezong weather should be the ones whom should be PUNISHED & MADE TO STAY OUT IN THE FREEZING WEATHER WITHOUT ON 1 PAUR OF PANTS, 1 LONG-SLEEVED SHIRT,1 PAIR OF SOCKS AND HOLEY TENNIS SHOES ON & MADE TO STAY OUTSIDE WITHOUT ANY SHELTER, FOOD, AND WATER!!!!!

  6. Laura Rolder says:

Someone has to know who did this and they need to speak up. No animal deserves to be abused, abandoned and neglected. Justice is a must for these innocent puppies. Thank Heaven they were found in time. Thank you to the one who saved them.

  7. Raymond Stevens says:

Animal abusers should be executed by being dragged up a lamp post by their neck with a rope around it.

  8. To all the people ranting and raving in their comments I agree 100% but do you know your neighbours???? Do you know your neighbourhood???? Would you know where lost or dumped animals came from???? Would you report and keep it up until someone does something????

  9. MICHAEL BAVARO says:

FIND WHOEVER DID THIS, CHAIN THEM TO A POLE, AND LET THEM FREEZE TO DEATH.

  10. I agree with all the above commentors. Leaving two living, breathing animals in a Massachusetts winter is beyond criminal. No animal or person deserves to be abandoned and freezing in the elements. Someone must know who had these dogs and they should tell the police who they are. We are our Brothers keepers. How would this play out if it was two young children?

  11. Someone knows who these dogs belonged to and they need to do the right thing and turn the abuser in to police. Abandoning pets is a cruel and nasty thing to do and this person has no conscience or morals and that makes them dangerous to other animals and to people. Find them and actually prosecute and punish them as an example to anyone else wanting to do this.

These people should be in jail

  13. Heartbreaking, whoever is responsible for this atrocity should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  14. These pups were never fed and did not have the body fat to protect them from
the frigid temps! The Avon police should find the sadists who dumped the pups. I hope they are not corrupt like Chgo cops!

  15. Time to get tough. Every country is so f…. soft on these sub species. Never mind fines. Chain gang and no food. Then a good beating. I am furious. Too much all this stuff.

  16. What will the police and justice system do? Fine them, bab them from keeping animals for a year and let them start all over again?! These person or people should be locked up to send a clear message to animal abusers that there is zero tolerance on abusing defenceless creatures! If it was up to me I would lock them in a freezer and forget about them! That’s what they deserve for what they did to these beautiful pit bulls! Thank God they were found in time! Sentence them to the harshest punishment and more if possible!

  17. No pet animal or person is safe with this ass wipe on the loose. He nearly murdered those poor innocent pups! He should be forced to live like those pups were…in the cold

  18. Sensi Vicano says:

For everyone that is upset about this, I hope you’re vegan, as farm animals suffer horrificly for years on cold farms then for days in freezing cold transport trucks with no food or water for days on their journey to slaughter. This goes for summer temps as well… any animal abuse should NOT be tolerated. Wake up people! I also rescue pit bulls so this makes me insanely pissed off. Find these scumbags before they do this again.

  19. Evan Jane Kriss says:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: ANIMAL ABANDONMENT SHOULD BE A CRIME. If you own an animal, you have a moral and ethical obligation to care for it properly; if you’re unable or unwilling to do so, you have a moral and ethical obligation to surrender it to an individual or an organization that can.

  20. People who do these kinds of horrible things to animals are despicable heartless scumbags. These poor young dogs – this is just unconscionable and unthinkable. We hope the person or persons that abandoned these poor helpless animals are identified and punished SEVERELY for the suffering and TRAUMA they caused these two dogs. There is NO excuse to do this to any living feeling beings. It is unacceptable.
