Target: Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Goal: Serve justice upon woman who allegedly kept 92 puppies crammed in wooden boxes for a puppy mill.
A woman was allegedly found with 92 puppies in wooden boxes in her home, as well as some horses and turtles. The woman reportedly bred the dogs and ran a puppy mill from her home. The Maricopa County Sheriff Office reports that it is the largest puppy mill it has ever seen and that the conditions the dogs were living in were deplorable.
Police officers entered the home after a tip that the home was unsafe for the animals. When the police entered, they found at least 92 dogs, mostly puppies, in wooden boxes that housed multiple puppies at a time. Many boxes contained the puppies’ waste, and some did not have any food or water inside them. These designer-bred dogs included English bulldogs, labradoodles, and French bulldogs.
After seizing the dogs, four have reportedly died and eleven remain under veterinarian care. Sheriff Arpaio reports that they are doing everything they can to keep them alive, but that the conditions were so poor that there may be nothing they can do for them. The woman now faces 99 counts of failure to provide medical care, 99 counts of failure to provide shelter, and seven counts of failure to provide food following investigation.
These puppies lived in small boxes containing their own waste with limited food and water. If found guilty, this woman needs to be punished to the fullest extent. Please sign this petition to support justice for these abused puppies.
Dear Sheriff Arpaio,
A woman was reportedly running a puppy mill right out of her home and was found with 92 puppies kept in small boxes. These boxes had multiple puppies inside them, contained waste, and no food and water. There were also horses and turtles at the residence that were also neglected.
This woman now faces 205 counts of animal abuse, including 99 counts of failure to provide medical care, 99 counts of failure to provide shelter, and seven counts to provide food following investigation. If found guilty following trial, this woman deserves to be punished to the fullest extent.
Thank you for the work you have done to stop this puppy mill so far. You have my support in moving forward with this trial and investigation. Please work to do the right thing for all these abused animals that truly deserve justice.
