Target: Florida state attorney Michael Satz
Goal: Charge owner of petting zoo animals with animal cruelty.
Police in Davie, Florida responded to a home where petting zoo animals, including goats, pigs, and ponies, were kept and allegedly found the animals in terrible conditions. Reports say the animals were starving and had little water.
The investigation was carried out with the help of the Animal Recovery Mission after an anonymous person called to say that 25 animals were allegedly not being cared for.
Sources say that the man who owns the animals rents them out for parties. No charges have been filed yet.
Urge Florida state attorney Michael Satz to press charges against the animals’ owner if it is found that they were being neglected.
Dear Michael Satz,
Twenty-five petting zoo animals, including goats, pigs, and ponies, were allegedly found living in terrible conditions. Sources say the animals looked like they weren’t fed enough and had very little water.
According to reports, the owner of the animals rents them out for parties.
We the undersigned urge you to charge the owner with animal cruelty if it is found that these animals were, in fact, neglected.
