Goal: Find and prosecute person who shot arrow into innocent cat.
A cat in Paragould, Arkansas was shot with an arrow and left to die. The arrow penetrated the cat’s chest, breaking numerous ribs, but miraculously missed the animal’s heart. The person responsible for this crime is still on the loose.
When the cat was found, a bystander rushed her to the Paragould Humane Society, which immediately took the cat to a local veterinarian. While it appears the cat will survive the attack, her injuries were significant. The Humane Society was able to locate the cat’s owner and will reunite them.
This is not the first time a pet has been shot with an arrow near Paragould. Only days before, another cat was shot with an arrow, and a few months earlier, a dog was found dead with an arrow through its body.
The local authorities must take this attack seriously and devote all resources necessary to finding and prosecuting the person responsible.

Dear Keith Chrestman,
An innocent cat was found with an arrow through her body. Fortunately, the cat survived the attack thanks to the hard work of a bystander, the Paragould Humane Society, and a local animal clinic. However, the person responsible for this crime is still at-large.
Apparently, this is not the first time a pet has been shot with an arrow near Paragould. Only days before, another cat was shot with an arrow, and a few months earlier, a dog was found dead with an arrow through its body.
Please devote all resources necessary to finding and prosecuting the person(s) responsible for this crime.

This sounds like a small town. If 3 animals have been found with arrows in their bodies, I’m sure that there is someone who knows who did this. Time for a reward and get this bastard off the streets. If not, the next to get shot with an arrow might be a child or vulnerable adult. Too many sick people with weapons and no brains.
Where’s that veterinarian who did that just before she nearly lost her license?
A few years ago one of my ferals that had been coming around for a few years, someone shot her between the eyes with an arrow! A week later someone snitched on who it was! Lets just say he ended up with broken fingers n two broken arms! Thats how you handle these scumbags who harm or kill animals!!

If I could do one thing in my life that would leave a lasting impression, it would be to convince people to never leave their cats and dogs out unattended. There are psychopaths living all among us……just waiting for animals and children.
Yeah but – they don’t listen. It’s obviously not right for psychos to hurt animals, BUT there are plenty of stupid, stubborn people who let their pets out to roam knowing they not only are out there killing wildlife but are also in danger of getting hit by a car or in a fight with larger wildlife, or getting maimed or killed by some nut job.

Are you Americans nuts or something, every other animal petition I get someone has shot burned beaten an animal. I know you love your guns over there, so why not shoot the scum who are responsible for these crimes. Anyway I have had enough I’m off now.

Unfortunately, there are not strict enough laws for animal cruelty. It has been proven that humans who are cruel to animals oftentimes graduate to being cruel and violent to humans. We need tougher laws for animal abusers!
